The website

It’s an evolving beast. It’s part personal exploration, part showcase. It’s part practice, part inspiration builder, part content marketing. It’s a terrible example of website planning, because I haven’t started with a real end in mind. Yet. I’m kinda… letting the vibes take me someplace awesome.

But it does reflect three loves of mine, in a long list of loves:

• The Written Word – how to correct it, how not to butcher it, how some have butchered it, how others have made it move hearts and mountains
• Life Well Said – observing the everyday in a voice uniquely mine
• Writing for Dollars and Sense – steering my career back towards the innocent childhood conviction that “when I grow up, I want to be a writer.” (Portfolio section coming soon.)

The writer

I come from a much smaller island-city-state-country called Singapore. I’m currently growing roots in Australia. I love both countries immensely.

In 1986, I became a writer.

In 2002, a blogger.

In 2003, a wife.

In 2011, a mother.

Somewhere in amongst all that, I did event and conference management, public relations, marketing, and online communications over a decade. I’m currently a part-time freelance writer and a full-time stay-at-home mother. I don’t sleep much.
